EMILY’S JANUARY WANDERINGS ❄️☕🏀

January came in hot… and by hot I mean 🤧 sick, ❄️ snowy, and “let’s cancel Scottsdale” real quick.

We started the year under the weather, buried in snow, rescheduling events, and planning the rest of 2026!

But even in a slower, heavier month… there was still so much life.

✨ Big vision meetings for 2026
🤍 Meaningful conversations + collaboration
💛 Hosting a women’s health-focused event
☕ Lots of coffee-fueled planning
🏀 Two games + practice (sports mom era)
❄️ A snowy retreat with 300+ teens
✨ Christmas lights up for glow therapy

It wasn’t glamorous.
It wasn’t perfectly curated.
But it was real.

January reminded me that growth doesn’t always look shiny — sometimes it looks like showing up anyway, choosing rest when needed, and finding joy in the middle of the messy.

Grateful for this life, this community, and all the moments in between.

Our Pickleball Social is happening Saturday, March 14 from 6:45–8:45PM at — and it’s truly for every level.

Never played before? We’ve got you.

We’ll split up by experience, rotate partners, and keep it fun, welcoming, and zero pressure. This is about getting out of your comfort zone, meeting incredible women, and doing something that makes you feel strong and alive.

There are still moments when I look around a room filled with 200+ women and feel completely in awe.

For years, I was a registered nurse caring for chemotherapy patients and sitting beside those in their final days, holding their hands through some of life’s hardest moments. It was sacred work. It shaped me deeply.

But if you had told me then that one day I’d be standing in a room full of women laughing, connecting, building friendships, and supporting one another — I would’ve never imagined it.

I’ve seen how powerful it is to show up for someone in their darkest hour.

Now I get to create spaces where women show up for each other in strength, joy, and community — and that is a privilege I will never take for granted.

Last night was one of those nights I wish I could bottle up forever. 🥹✨

Our newspaper backdrop? A true labor of love. Every piece of it was created with intention… and seeing women step in front of it laughing, hugging, connecting — and yes, even snorting (which honestly is the highest compliment 😂) — made every second worth it.

There is something so powerful about watching women feel seen.
Watching business owners light up.
Watching strangers become friends.

This is what community looks like.
This is what supporting local looks like.
This is what growth, connection, and women cheering for women looks like. 💛

Over 175 women.
Local businesses.
Shared stories.
Real conversations.
So much joy.

If you were in that room, you felt it.
If you missed it… I won’t lie, it was magic. ✨
