Hello all, I’m glad you’re here!!

I have recently become a doula. What is a doula? Well a doula is a birth attendant who supports a family during the labor process from the prenatal through the postnatal period. Doulas educate prenatally to empower expecting families. Providing tools and evidence based research for families to make decisions regarding the birth of their little ones. During labor, the doula will support the mother assisting in implementation of her birth plan. The doula will use tools such as massage, essentials oils, calming music, heat/cold, pressure, etc., to reduce discomfort during labor. Postnatally the doula will provide support in the first few hours following birth and into the first month.

I now offer doula services for the North Country both in hospital and at home.
