Good morning everyone, happy Martin Luther King day! It’s officially been a week on whole 30 and this is definitely no joke. Giving up sugar, Alcohol, gluten and grains, dairy and then any kind of processed food. I want to give a shout out to those who are gluten and dairy free. That has definitely been a challenge but a good one. I just found out on 23 and me that I have one of the two variants for celiac.(gluten) I noticed just how much better I feel off of gluten and dairy. I definitely noticed a difference in inflammation in my body. As I continue continue whole30 it is getting easier, but I have to say that in the beginning I struggled as I often found myself not knowing what to eat as a lot of my snacks had some kind of grains or dairy in them. I hope the ones doing this are experiencing positive benefits. I’m going keep going strong and hope to remain as much dairy and gluten free after this is over as well.

Into the second day of whole 30. Wondering how it’s going for those of you are doing it with me. I had somebody make a comment yesterday that he feels like he’s eating less because he’s just not sure what to eat. Lol! That is definitely a way to lose weight. My intake yesterday:
Egg white omelette with pineapple and a cup of coffee with MCT and coconut milk.
A salad with curried carrots, olives, homemade EVOO and vinegar dressing with chicken on top.
A grass fed burger, with a half an acorn squash with avocado butter and cinnamon.
Lastly my snack was 2 teaspoons of nut butter and then some pineapple with a hot cup of tea with collagen powder in it.
Plus I lifted full body and did 1 hr of cardio. 💪🏻
