🧠Did you know that using emojis can play significant role in communication?

Emojis can;
✅ Enhance communication and expression:
"You've got to be kidding me. 😂" versus "You've got to be kidding me. 😡"
✅ Foster empathy and understanding:
"Sounds like fun. 🙄" versus "Sounds like fun. 😁"
✅ Build relationships and connections:
"I had fun tonight." versus "I had fun tonight. 😍😁"
✅ Promoting self-awareness and self-expression:
"I'm angry 😐" versus "I'm angry 😡😤"

Although many of the messages above had the same text, they communicated different feelings by the use of emojis.

Do you use emojis to communicate your feelings through text? Let us know in the comments below. ⬇

🧠💚 What does our Care Cabinet have to do with mental health? 💚🧠

More than you might think.

At MOPS, we know that mental health isn’t just about therapy sessions, it’s also about meeting basic needs. When people are struggling to afford food, hygiene items, or essentials, it creates stress, anxiety, and a sense of isolation.

That’s where the Care Cabinet comes in.

By offering free, no-questions-asked access to essential items, the Care Cabinet helps reduce some of the daily burdens people face and that can make a real difference in mental well-being. It’s a small act of care that says:

“You matter. You’re not alone. Your needs are valid.”

Every donated item is more than a product; it’s a message of support. 💬💙
Every stocked shelf is a reminder that our community cares.

Mental health care starts with compassion and sometimes, it looks like a can of soup, a bar of soap, or a pair of clean socks.

🛍️ Want to be part of it? We're always accepting donations of:
• Non-perishable food
• Travel-size hygiene products
• New socks, gloves, and seasonal essentials

📍 Located at Columbus MOPS (2238 S. Hamilton Rd.)
📩 Message us to coordinate drop-offs!

Together, we’re advancing our mission of community care by building a more compassionate, mentally healthy community one small act at a time.

"Gratitude can be a game changer. It helps train your brain to notice and appreciate the little things in life and, in doing so, shifts your life experience tremendously.

Gratitude can increase your happiness and wellbeing, life satisfaction, even overall health while decreasing the stuff we all want less of like anxiety, depression, and anger. '
