You can rely on our expertise in maternal fetal medicine for helpful answers and compassionate support. Our practitioners have experienced complicated pregnancies in their own families and relied on MFM specialists for care and support. Those experiences drive their passion for providing the best care possible for every family. LMFM offers pre-pregnancy counseling, first trimester screening (for both high risk and routine pregnancies), fetal echocardiograms, and management of complex maternal and fetal conditions during pregnancy. Our ultrasound equipment is state-of-the art; you can expect the most beautiful 3D and 4D ultrasound images available, and we'll send them right to your phone! We are always accepting new patients, and welcome self-referrals (you do not need "permission" from your OB to see us). We can schedule your appointment quickly-you won't have to wait weeks to be seen. We are a small, family (and veteran) owned business, and treat all our patients with the kindness and respect they deserve.

Calhan was born last week, weighing in at a chonky 9 lbs, 5 oz. 😄We're so happy for his family! His mama, Nichole, sent us these sweet pics of him, so of course we had to share! Laszlo and Freddy send their congratulations as well, and have offered to babysit anytime! (Laszlo, our therapy dog, joined Nichole for most of her visits, and she was the very first person Freddy visited at the office--he's still in training)

😍Welcome to the World! 🩷
Last week we heard from Haley C.; she gave us an update on how her Halloween twins are doing:
"Hello!! I’m sorry it’s taken so long to update you! Twin life is crazy. Arabella Rose and Adelaide Lily were born 10/31/25, and weighed 5 lbs 6 oz and 5 lbs 7 oz - only ten grams apart! Adelaide spent 11 days in the NICU because she wasn’t quite ready to breathe on her own, but Arabella came home with us! They are perfect, happy little girls and they love their pumpkin hats (thank you again!). They don’t love to sleep, they do love to eat! They are both almost 11 pounds now.

We loved Wellspan and definitely will return when we’re ready for more! And we really loved Lancaster MFM, my absolute favorite time of the week was coming in to see you all and the girls! I felt really comfortable there and loved how personable everyone was. I don’t usually have experiences like that in the medical world. I have attached a few pictures from their first couple days and then now, and we were planning on bringing them to meet you next week before their doctors appointment!

Thank you so much for everything again, can’t wait for you to meet the girls!"

🤩Look who came in to visit last week!😍
Proud parents Collen and Colin brought in 3-week old Ben for a visit at our West Reading office. They're pictured here with Jaime, our incredible PA, and Christina, one of our highly skilled sonographers. Ben arrived, true to form, in the same position we saw in all his ultrasounds, and weighed in at a very healthy 8lbs, 11 oz ☺️

We're especially delighted to see them because Ben is our very first alumni baby for our Reading office!

We are less than one week away from YWCA Lancaster's 2026 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Children’s Celebration on Monday, January 19, 2026!

The day will include hourly book readings, drumming, drill team performance, activities, and snacks. Children will leave with a free book (while supplies last)!

This year’s theme, “Dreaming of a Better Future” reminds us to bridge Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's vision with today’s challenges, showing that the dream is ongoing, not finished!
