Hey Crabbies. It’s been awhile! I took a little mental health break from social media and business in general.
Like so many small businesses struggling from the Covid fall out, this business is no different. You ALL know the costs are rising, shows were meh, and life as we know it was/is just damn hard.
Yarn and fiber arts have always been my go to for managing my mental health.
What do you do when that ceases to fill the need? When the business you worked so hard to grow not only no longer fills the financial void but no longer feeds your soul.
I have been so afraid to say it out loud. The thought of walking away scares the crap out of me.
But this week, as Spring begins to awaken in Lancaster, my thoughts turn to this…why does it need to be an either/ or situation. Why can’t my business encompass all my art forms, including yarn.
So this is where I’m going with this rant!
I found more art to fill my holes. I turned to my garden and started playing with flowers. Then this winter I started playing with dried flowers. Fooling around with jewelry and more.
I hope you will continue to support me through this evolution. Many of you have been with me from the beginning in 2009. I am so thankful for all of you! ❤️. The yarn is not going away, it’s just not going to be 100% of my business anymore.
For now, the website remains the same but I’ll add my additional art to it for sale. Stay tuned as this phase of life is evolving!
Here are some cutie little earrings made from dried flower and set in resin. Lightweight and fun!
