🤯 FIVE STRATEGIES TO CONQUERING NEGATIVE THOUGHTS 💭 ⠀

❓Do you ever find yourself struggling with constant worry, stress or anxiety?⠀

❓ do you ever battle bouts of depression, feelings of low self-worth, harsh judgment of self and others?⠀
⠀
Please STOP 🛑, read/take notes, follow these five strategies below!⠀

A bit after I came to know God – – I found that I still had negative thoughts/feelings and anxiety that still arose uncontrollably.⠀

I had little self-awareness and totally didn’t know how to control my mind or thoughts. I would go in and out of depressive states and always feel controlled by my mind and emotions.⠀

Over many years (there is NO quick fix!) of applying these strategies On a regular basis—I have been able to successfully take back control over my mind to use it for the purposes God has given me (to come along side of all of you and those I am blessed to know).⠀

🙇♀️STRATEGY #1: STOP & TAKE 5 DEEP BREATHS⠀

🙇♀️STRATEGY #2: AWARENESS & IDENTIFYING NEGATIVE THOUGHTS ⠀
We have 4 types of thoughts ALL thoughts go into one or two of these categories:⠀
• Negative⠀• Positive ⠀• Wasteful⠀
• Necessary ⠀
❓What thoughts are you having? ⠀
❓What emotions are they causing?⠀
🙇♀️STRATEGY #3: BE PRESENT ➡️ FOCUS ON YOUR CURRENT SENSES⠀
We tend to get lost in our thoughts and that leads us to think about the past and future and we lose touch with what our present is and what is happening around us.⠀
ℹ️ Be aware of the smells, tastes, the sights, sounds, and what you are touching around you to be in the present. ⠀

🙇♀️ STRATEGY #4: IMMERSE YOURSELF IN TRUTH⠀
🙏 Read and remember God’s scripture and truth He says about you⠀
🙏 ask yourself questions like:⠀
-Is this helpful to me or the world?⠀
- Is this true?⠀
- Will this thought help me to take positive action in my life for gods sake?⠀

🙇♀️ STRATEGY #5: REPEAT THESE STRATEGIES ON A REGULAR BASIS ⠀
🌟 Consistency is key with the mind. We must repeat positive patterns to untangle our wiring we’ve tangled over the years.⠀
🌟 Practice doesn’t make perfect but makes more positivity!⠀
