TODAYS MUSING…
After years of trying to “let Faith lead” I’ve come to see it is actually one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to learn to do. Sure, Faith & gratitude is easy when things are going your way. It’s harder to do when a circumstance comes through that feeds a deep seeded negative belief, or life just seems to be coming at you from all directions triggering feelings of anger’s, hopelessness, overwhelm, disrespect, lack, againstness,etc., etc…( in other words, FEAR). FEAR is easier to grasp because in our life’s FEAR is the energy that we are exposed to most in our world from the time we are young. Even many religions have over shadowed “God’s love for us” with the idea that “God judges us”. Even as I watch “spiritual inspiration” videos I am struck by how many have “WARNING” in the titles. FEAR is an epidemic here.
So I absolutely understand why its difficult to let FAITH lead. Especially because the majority of us live our lifes, not in full awareness but instead on autopilot . If our default is fear (and honestly for 92.8% of us that is true) we have to make a conserted effort to live life consciously vs. haphazardly. That is a hard default to override but it can be done! We just have to teach ourselves to be mindful of where we allow our focus to flow (because where our focus goes, that energy flows).
I finally understand that in each moment, in each circumstance I really am choosing what thoughts & emotions I am letting lead. My default has always been fear energy so now I realize if I feel the emotions that come with fear, I have to stop and take a breathe (or 20). Is this something I do immediately all the time (uhh…no) but i always hit a point where I feel the energy in my body & can determine if I feel good or not.
IF IT DOESNT FEEL GOOD ITS A CLUE YOUR ALLOWING FEAR TO LEAD.
F.E.A.R: false energy appearing real. In other words, A LIE…
In reality, we actually choose what the thoughts and emotions we give power too. Being triggered happens, similar circumstances, similar emotions peak and we respond from what is our default energy. The key is to be aware of how you are feeling. If it doesn’t feel good, shorten its duration by shifting your energy…
Take deep breaths,
Stomp your feet until you feel an energy release…
Walk out of the room..
Circumstances are ALWAYS temporary unless you choose to recreate similar situations & circumstances by feeding the fear energy.
A true test of your Faith & belief in yourself when faced with a repeated pattern, similar experience, or simplly something you didnt want to be is reminding yourself that thia is just temporary and CHOOSING to react differently .
Its not always easy, but until you are willing to stand firm in the true power of you to co-create a NEW reality, that which you draw through will be a repeating pattern of what has always been🙏🏼
