Can't believe It's been a month since I've checked in to "My-S-Cap"! My Fl visit with grandsons was awesome. Thank goodness out daughter was home filling orders. She got out 52 orders!!! and we total sold out of the face masks. I would have never thought last November when I 1st listed the cover that I would have sold over 1K! My goal now it to have offer more fabric choice in November. Needless to say, I'm sewing 24/7.

I am heading out to Florida tomorrow and won't be back until the 20th. I going to be spending time with my darling grandsons while their parents are on much need "R&R".

My goal was to have my face cover inventory stocked up. They are literally selling faster than I can make them. In Sept I've already sold 98. Since listing the covers in Nov, I've sold 928!

I debated putting my etsy shop in vacation mode, but our daughter graciously stepped up to fill the orders while I'm away. I have 36 in stock at the moment.

When I get home, I will immediately start restocking.

My goal is to have more choices mid November.

I have totally neglected My-S-Cap face book page and I apologize. The reason being is that my cpap face mask have been selling faster than I can make and list them! Since Nov 24, I have sold over 750! Add in my other items such as chemo caps, crutch pads, custom request orders etc. there isn't a lot of time left.

Sorry that I haven't checked in lately. I've been busy sewing! I now offer a facemask cover for the new F40 cpap frame.

With the help of an etsy buyer I was able to make some minor design changes so that it will fit both the F30i and F40.

I have been asked to make covers for the Dreamwear cpap face frame. I'm trying to decide if the cover should just cover the small part that just covers the nostrils (1) or extend it to also cover the cheek (2). Any input would be helpful.
I asked for input from Facebook CPAP REVIEWS. Most of the responses suggested that the cheek cover would be more helpful.

One lady said that the area between her upper lip and nose irritated her skin the most. If you use the Dreamwear face mask and would be interested in helping me design a face mask cover for the dreamwear frame, I would appreciate you help/input. It would require some Facetiming and sending the masks back and forward. Or if you just have input, I would appreciate the help.

When I get a notice that a review has come in, I'm always curious. This review came in yesterday and it made my chuckle.

"It has definitely helped my mask feel more comfortable on my skin and has stopped it from farting on my face all night!

She also included a pic of her F30i face cover.

Others have raved over how it has helped reduce irritation where the mask is sort of suctioned to the face and how it protected against air leakage, but this was the first the leakage was described as "farts". The image of that would definitely make it even harder to sleep. LOL

Good morning,
I hope you are all warm. I usually walk at our local life center each morning during the week, but with my outside temp registering at -1, I decided to hibernate in my warm home and sew!

I have been neglecting my headwear lines. My first listings were scrub caps. It wasn't long after that t began making headwear for cancer patients and then for ladies dealing with alopecia. After requests for children caps came in, I added them to my listings.

My caps only account for 10% of my sales, but with reviews from buyers, I won't stop offering them. There is a need and they brighten ones day.

Hello & Happy New Year!
My-S-Cap shop on etsy had a very good year with over 1000 orders to many corners of the planet. It wouldn't be possible without your support and encouragement. My reviews are what makes my day. It's surprising how a kind word, can brighten one's day.

Most orders were for cpap covers, with the F30i face mask cover being the most popular. I'm told they feel comfortable against the face and don't leave facial indentations.

My goal for 2025 is to design a face mask for probably the F10 / F20 ResMed mask. Finding the time and the right fabric is key.

I hope you all are surviving the winter weather in east and the terrible fires on the west coast.

I sort of apologize for not posting for a few weeks. I took a little break and visited my grandsons in florida Halloween weekend. . When I came back, I was busy closing out November bookkeeping. November was a great month! Ended up finishing the month this 119 sales!!!!!! Hard to believe that in my first 3 yrs on etsy, that I only sold a total of 25.

Help!!!!! I am trying to easily remove background from my pics, so that they will show up cleaner on my Etsy shop "MySCap". I am currently using "Fotofuze". It involves literally using an eraser or highlighter and carefully outlining items. Rather time consumer and not crisp.
Someone suggested using Photoroom which costs $90/yr.
Hope someone can just give me some suggestions.
I have noticed on my iphone14 that I can click on one of my pics and the item can be moved but I can't find a place to drop it.
I just need a white background.
