NEWS: Apple recently announced that their AirPods Pro 2 will soon double as over-the-counter hearing aids. Apple users will be able to create a personalized hearing profile in Apple’s Health app based on their responses to an in-app hearing screening.

The on-staff audiologists at Willow Valley Communities are hopeful that this option will become a viable one for consumers with milder hearing losses seeking hearing help but potentially balking at the price of prescription hearing aids. They can assist potential and current over-the-counter hearing aid users with determining candidacy, advising type/style, servicing cleaning devices, and providing help with adjustments for best results.

Celebrating the last day of Better Speech-Language-Hearing Month with some inspiration from our wonderful IntegrityForward Hearing Solutions audiologists!

Kerry: “My favorite part of being an audiologist is the variety! No two patients have the same hearing loss, listening environments, cosmetic preferences, communication partners, goals, etc. Figuring out what each individual needs in order to hear and communicate optimally is like a puzzle. When the pieces come together, it's very rewarding."

Heather: “There is something really special about creating opportunities that enable people to improve their situations - to thrive, flourish. Audiologists do this as it relates to improving hearing, and we are able to watch people get their lives, and their personalities back. It's humbling to be a part of this really special process."
