When Circumstantial Saint asked us about hosting a Black History Month poetry event in The Lounge, our answer was an easy yes. This is more than just an event. It is a space to support, honor, and uplift Black voices that deserve to be heard. 🫶🏾✨
This evening is about inclusion, reflection, and holding space for real stories, real emotions, and real conversations about racism, past and present. Some words may be heavy, some may be healing, and all of them matter. We invite you to come with an open heart, open ears, and a willingness to listen and learn.
