Kayte will be an excellent complement to our Behavioral Health team, as she specializes in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions through medication management and supportive care. September is nationally recognized as Falls Prevention Month. Grant Regional Health Center wants your rugs! Rugs are a leading factor in traumatic fall injuries, and they can be easily eliminated from your home. Rugs will be donated to be repurposed by animals at the Grant County Humane Society! 🐾

Beginning on September 2nd, you can drop off your 4'x6' rug (or smaller) and receive a free GRHC mug to fill with freshly brewed Badger Brother’s Coffee at the The Perfect Blend Coffee Co., located inside Grant Regional Health Center.

GRHC was thrilled to recently host the first Club 911, a four-day hands-on program designed to foster youth interest in community emergency services including EMS, Healthcare, Law Enforcement, Fire, Emergency Government, Coroner, and more. See more photos at ➡ https://bit.ly/4mxUkeA

23 participants ranging from age 15 to 18 had the opportunity to become CPR & 1st Aid certified, Stop the Bleed certified, learn about triaging, tour facilities of the partnering organizations, complete several emergency preparedness activities, and more.

The program would not have been possible without major efforts from mother-son duo, Missy Kliebenstein and Steven Kliebenstein, and funding support by the Lancaster Community Fund and the CHS Foundation.

We would like to extend a special thank you to all the following organizations and their representatives: Lancaster Fire Department, Lancaster EMS, Grant County Coroner’s Office, Grant County Sheriff’s Department, Grant County Emergency Management, Lancaster Community School District (Ryan Wepking).

Our Grant Regional Health Center team had so much fun collecting activity and care items for local nursing homes through our “Little Baskets, Big Smiles” drive. 💙 Thanks to their generosity, we were able to share donations with Dove Healthcare, Lancaster Health Services, Morningside Assisted Living, and Orchard Manor Nursing Home- Grant County. Thank you to everyone who helped bring smiles and brighten the days of local residents! ✨
