Teaching fellow therapists how to improve their body mechanics during deep tissue massage brings me so much joy! 👐✨

Here’s a quick tip for delivering deep work effectively—without hurting yourself or your client:

✅ Lower your table height – This gives you better leverage and helps avoid shoulder strain.
✅ Squat and shift your body weight – Let your legs do the work, not your wrists or thumbs.
✅ Use your forearms for broad strokes and larger muscle groups to reduce strain on small joints.
✅ Reserve your elbows for precision work and breaking up adhesions—not for digging!

Remember: Deep doesn’t mean painful. It means intentional and smart. When you use proper mechanics, your pressure becomes more therapeutic—and sustainable for your career too. 💪🏽💆🏽‍♀️

**Lessons Learned This Week**

We strive to maintain clear and timely communication, but occasionally, details may be missed—after all, we’re all human.

Please keep in mind that our providers are mobile for post-op, maintain offices, and have families. As such, accommodating last-minute route changes can be difficult due to other patients’ confirmed appointments and previously disclosed time constraints.

Here’s a quick reminder of our appointment and confirmation process:

* Your initial appointment is scheduled by our coordinator, Leilani.
* Our therapists will confirm your appointment time via **text message only** (we do not use email) the evening before your scheduled visit.
* If you do not receive a confirmation text by 7:00 PM, please contact our coordinator at **469-770-0862**.

To help avoid missed connections:

* Please double-check your contact information when completing intake forms, especially your phone number.
* If we are unable to confirm your appointment due to incorrect contact details or other issues, your appointment will be reassigned.
* **We do not arrive at homes without prior confirmation.**

Please note that **deposits are non-refundable**, so we kindly ask that you verify the accuracy of your contact and address information before submitting your forms.
