What's up Wednesday from the Prevention, Advocacy, Recovery and Treatment (P.A.R.T.) Coalition - February is Cancer Prevention Month. Did you know alcohol can increase your risk for cancer by impairing your body's ability to break down and absorb nutrients, increase the level of estrogen in your blood, and generate free radicals in your body which can damage your DNA? What can you do? If you choose to drink alcohol, don't drink too much and help others do the same. If alcohol is a problem for you, The Fairfield County ADAMH Board has resources to help https://www.fairfieldadamh.org/Program-Providers.html.
