Today is a very special day at the ODC, but a bittersweet one. Today we say a fond farewell to Emerson who is leaving the ODC. The good news is that he is leaving to take a full-time job working in the kitchen at an area retirement community!

Emerson has worked very hard here at the ODC for more than 10 years, and has grown in so many ways. We are sad to see him go, but very happy for his in his new endeavor! After all, that's why we are here: to train our Participants and to help them gain employment in the community if they so choose.

Congratulations, Emerson. We are going to miss seeing you here every day, but we know you are going to do a great job! We can't wait to see how you continue to grow.

We are all set to go for the 2nd Annual Robert L. Richards Memorial Golf Tournament to Benefit the ODC at Crossgates Golf Club this Friday!

Check out this recent interview that our PR & Development Manager Ken Mueller did with the local Air1 Radio affiliate in Lancaster. Ken discusses the history of the ODC as well as the cariety of programs that we offer for area adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

ODC trivia: Ken use to work in radio, and back in the 80's he worked at this exact station when it was then WNCE (Nice 101 FM), with sister station WLPA-1490 AM. At that time the station was located just off of Penn Square in downtown Lancaster.
