What a magical moment at Pine Run Lakeview when residents watched their beautiful Painted Lady butterflies soar into the wild.

The residents in the personal care community in Doylestown, PA, have been on an incredible journey with the butterflies, witnessing their amazing transformation from caterpillars to chrysalis to flight 🦋.

Watching this miracle take flight brought joy to everyone involved.

🚗 3rd Annual Car Cruise-In Winner! 🎉

Congratulations to Michael Wood, whose stunning 1939 Ford was voted Crowd Favorite at our 3rd Annual Eats, Beats & Streets Car Cruise!

What makes this win even more special is the story behind the car. Michael’s grandmother, Carol, and her late husband once owned this very vehicle. After they sold it prior to a move to Florida, Michael managed to track down the exact car in Tennessee and bring it back into the family!

Carol, who joined The Long Community at Highland in June 2025, now lives closer to her son and grandchildren in Lancaster. She cherishes sharing memories of the adventures she and her late husband had in this very car.

This vintage beauty was not only a sentimental favorite — it was also the oldest car at the event! 🏆

PSL celebrated Diane Dantos, Volunteer extraordinaire and PSL Altruism Award winner for 2025, with a lunch for her and her family on July 10 at the Presbyterian Village of Hollidaysburg.

Diane volunteers daily from early in the morning (sometimes before 7am) until after lunch Monday through Friday enriching the lives of the residents in the personal care home. She brings purpose, meaning, friendship and laughter to their lives through her companionship, trivia, movement, song, stories, prayer, games and sharing of meals. She loves "spending time with her girls" and they look forward to spending time with her. She has been volunteering selflessly since June of 2020.

PSL, the team and residents at Presbyterian Village and all who have met Diane are lucky to not just call her a friend, but to call her family. You can't help but smile when you are near Diane. Diane, we are blessed to have you in our lives!
