I’ve usually been so pleased with the service. It’s currently 4:30. I checked my child in at 10:30. She’s in a lot of pain. We didn’t get called back for 2 hours. I get that it’s very busy. Remember she’s in a lot of pain!!! We get seen and sent to another location for a ctscan (that needs to be done before medicine can be given) okay we go there at 2… we come back. It takes over an hour to get called back in. Now it’s 4:30 and we are still here and she’s had no pain relief.
6 hours without pain relief. Please do better!!

I have to admit to something to your group. I am in one of those categories to get the covid-19 however there is a major factor that keeps me from getting the needed vaccination and that is fear and I need to talk about this. It's not the fear of misinformation. There is a lot of postings out there regarding how the testing is handled and what's in the vial that's being injected into your arms and every other conspiracy Nut Job out there trying to put a bad tone into a much-needed vaccinations. Mine is personal. I never trust a doctor's growing up and it's hard enough for me to even contacting the side doctor to my group and knowing I'm going to get a nurse instead of an MD. Even that doesn't give me enough courage enough to get my arm stabbed. I've had a little bad calls with doctors in the past, some in the performance of their duties of trying to save my ass. Left a bad mental health stigma in my head that's lasted for all my life. I never liked being put into a position of being a lab rat nor being treated as such. I have been fortunate to have been treated by MD's who have freaked out every time when I get my blood pressure tested it's always skyrocketing. I've called them it's mental health issues. They tell me it's white lab coat syndrome. I never believed them in that one because I know it's PTSD and I've had it ever since I was young kid. I was just ever properly diagnosed of having it. I haven't treated will the medication to get rid of acne at one time but the medication was actually for cancer and then they're put me into a suicidal situation. Since that I've had a bad taste about doctors. So imagine my own fear level rising when I see a new doctor and they want blood test out of me or if I happen to schedule for the covid-19 vaccination of my hesitancy regarding this. Fear plays a major role and preventing health conditions from being diagnosed properly and taken care of . I can attest to that. I registered to get in line to get the appointment necessary to get my arm stabbed but it doesn't mean I'm going to like any of it leading up to the time of getting my arms stabbed and then having to wait about a month for another one. The step before it's not the medical profession but it's my past dealings in dealing with the medical profession trying to save my ass that has put me into a mental block regarding taking care of myself. I needed to share this with others because I think it's important. Fear does strange things to people and it makes them more at risk. One more thing. I do not care how the swabs have been crept regarding the sterilization procedures, nor am I worried about any microchips going into the are either, or any left wing nut job or right wing nut job opinions. I know that one there's a virus out there killing people left and right and if there is a vaccination to stop this, I will take the chance. I don't like being becoming a pin cushion but I also like breathing, and I like living. I sure as hell do not like to be put into a situation where I'm going to be the Typhoid Mary and not even realize it. So if you guys are going to be making any your du***ss jokes regarding what you think, just remember this, you have your opinion and that's all you have just like everybody has their own ass but we all don't have to expose it to the public, do we?

Volunteers of High Desert Medical Group joined the Homes4Families veterans nonprofit building more than 50 homes in Palmdale for veterans otherwise locked out of heated Southern California market.

High Desert Medical Group was recognized as honoree of Homes4Families in 2022, awarded the "Hammer of Hope" award at a gala hosted at the Universal Hilton Hotel.

HDMG fielded a small but mighty team on Saturday, July 16, joined by more volunteers from the Boeing Co., PepsiCo and other corporate community giving leaders.

The volunteers constructed about $10,000 worth of ground improvements to the central Palmdale property before the mercury shot past 100 degrees. It was hard work in the heat, with a premium placed on safety, but good work done by all. HDMG team members were Team Leader Dennis Anderson, Margaret Papa Louey, Thelma Glasco, joined by Navy Veteran Lizeth Robertson of the Vets4Veterans service organization, which HDMG also supports.
