Sarah Lee shares her profound experience of taking Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Master Training on Mount Kurama, the legendary birthplace of Reiki. Immersed in the mountain’s sacred energy, she reflects on the journey that deepened her connection to Reiki, her ancestry, and her authentic self.

Through vibrant autumn landscapes, ancient shrines, and the wisdom of spiritual guardians, she experiences deep healing and release. “I connect to spiritual guidance and channel Reiki energy to heal humanity with love and compassion.” Each step up the mountain becomes an invitation to surrender, trust, and embrace transformation.

Moments of clarity arrive as she washes her hands in the cool water at Kannon’s statue, feeling the Goddess of Mercy’s boundless compassion. “Come into the place of love and compassion,” she hears, realizing the weight she once carried has lifted. Guided by the echoes of her ancestors and the spiritual energy of Mount Kurama, she faces the question, What is my authentic self?

At the summit, where Usui Sensei first received Reiki, Sarah sits in quiet meditation, fully present in the energy. “Today, I will not worry. Today, I will stay in peace.” Reiki flows freely, filling her with gratitude and empowerment. As she descends the mountain, she knows its wisdom and love will remain within her.

I’m absolutely thrilled to offer this Reiki I class for self-care at the VA Medical Center in Lebanon! As a dedicated Reiki volunteer there since 2019, I have a deep love for this incredible community.

When in-person sessions were no longer possible due to COVID, I started a weekly online Reiki meditation, which was so well received that the veterans asked for it twice a week—an opportunity I was more than happy to embrace! Their heartfelt feedback has shown me just how profoundly beneficial Reiki has been for them.

This will be my first time teaching Reiki online, and I’m so grateful for the encouragement to do so, as it will allow me to reach even more veterans who may not have been able to attend in person. So excited about this journey!
