Our fish are complying with the requirement for wearing masks and they are good at washing their fins!
We finally reopened for non-emergency services and are working part-time for awhile, trying to adjust to the "new normal". Though our smiling faces will be hidden behind masks, face shields, and sneeze guards, we will be happy to see you again and share pandemic survival stories.
What will be different: 1)Health screening questions will be asked when you make an appointment and again when you come in, 2)Temperatures will be taken, 3)No visitors accompanying patients unless it's a parent or caregiver,
4)Masks must be worn until instructed to remove, 5) Toys, magazines, and several chairs have been removed from the reception room, and 6) if you feel sick, please stay home!
What is the same: Our commitment to providing dental care in a safe and gentle manner, our adherence to CDC and CA guidelines on universal precautions and infection control. Give us a call and come visit!
Well, here it is May 13 and the office is still closed, now with a stay at home order stretching into July. The office has a fresh coat of paint (figured painting walls was better than climbing them), got several repairs done, cleaned out cabinets and closets, tossed lots of stuff. Have been listening to
webinars with information about how to practice safely in this new environment. We are all scrambling for information and scientific data that will inform our choices and it is hard to find, just like N95 masks!
I am still available for phone consultation 661 722-2291 for emergencies, but hope everyone is avoiding eating corn nuts and jelly beans right now. Please take care of yourself: eat well, sleep enough, laugh often, exercise, check in with friends, brush and floss, and always WASH YOUR HANDS!
Miss all my staff and patients.
As you probably already know, my office is closed until further notice due to the COVID 19 pandemic and state and local orders to stay home. I am available for phone consultations for emergencies at 661 722-2291. Hope everyone is washing their hands a lot and eating healthy (and brushing and flossing, as we really do need to prevent problems now).
So far we are all healthy, other than getting some cabin fever. And I can appreciate the joke about needing to social distance from the refrigerator while at home!
The answering machine message at the office will be updated when we know what date we are able to return to work. Miss seeing all of our wonderful patients and will have lots of stories to share when we get back. Stay safe!
