One year of Grow Neuropsychology 🤍

This past year has been incredibly meaningful. What began as a vision has grown into a practice dedicated to helping children better understand how they learn, and supporting families in gaining clarity and direction.

At Grow Neuropsychology, we believe that every child is capable of so much. It has been a privilege to walk alongside families as they gain deeper insight into their child’s strengths and needs.

We are so grateful to be part of the Tampa Bay community and to have spent this past year connecting with so many wonderful families 🤍

Here’s to continued growth, connection, and supporting children in reaching their full potential ✨

If you’ve been wondering whether your child needs testing, there’s usually a reason.

Many of the families we work with describe having a sense that something wasn’t quite lining up, even when grades were okay or teachers weren’t overly concerned.

Often, it’s not about something being “wrong.” It’s about understanding how your child learns, where they may be working harder than expected, and what supports would actually make things easier.

A comprehensive evaluation can provide that clarity, and help guide next steps in a very practical, meaningful way.

If this has been on your mind, you’re welcome to fill out the contact form on our website and we can talk through whether an evaluation would be helpful.

Receiving a diagnosis for your child can bring many emotions at once, relief, validation, uncertainty, and questions about what comes next. Many parents wonder how to turn that information into real, day-to-day support for their child.

At Grow Neuropsychology, families are not left to figure this out alone. We take time to help parents truly understand their child’s profile, translate findings into practical next steps, and collaborate with schools and providers so recommendations feel realistic and supportive in everyday life.

A diagnosis is not the end of the story, it is the beginning of a clearer path forward. With the right understanding and guidance, children can be supported in ways that build confidence, skills, and success across settings.

If your child has recently received a diagnosis and you are wondering what to do next, this article walks through how to move forward with clarity and confidence.

When parents notice concerns about attention, learning, behavior, or development, the pediatrician is often the first and most trusted place to turn. Pediatricians know their patients deeply and play a central role in monitoring development, providing guidance, and helping families navigate next steps.

At times, when questions are more complex or challenges persist despite supports, pediatricians may recommend a pediatric neuropsychological evaluation to better understand how a child thinks, learns, and functions day to day. This deeper clarity helps ensure diagnoses are accurate and recommendations are truly aligned with a child’s needs.

We value close collaboration with pediatricians and other providers to support children and families in a coordinated, thoughtful way.

If you have ever wondered how pediatricians and neuropsychologists work together in the diagnostic process, this article explains how each role fits and when additional evaluation may be helpful.

Many families come to Grow Neuropsychology after their child has already had some form of testing, yet they still feel confused about why their child is struggling or what to do next.

Not all evaluations are designed to answer the same questions, and some may miss important pieces of the bigger picture. When that happens, recommendations can feel unclear, incomplete, or not fully aligned with a child’s real-world needs.

A comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation looks beyond isolated test scores to understand how a child thinks, learns, and functions across settings. The goal is not just labels, it is clarity and a meaningful plan forward.

If you are navigating questions about your child’s learning, attention, or emotional functioning, this article may help you know what to look for in an evaluation.

Today, we pause to honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who stepped forward in the face of tragedy. September 11th is a day that reminds us of the strength of community, the importance of resilience, and the healing power of coming together. On this day of remembrance, we hold space for reflection, unity, and hope for a brighter future.
