Earlier today, Buena EMS had the opportunity to take part in the Atlantic City International Airport’s Tri-Annual Emergency Exercise. BLS 11-93 participated in the drill while BLS 11-92 remained available at our station ready for emergencies within Buena Boro.

This large-scale drill, held every three years, simulates a commercial airplane crash and is designed to test the response of airport personnel, first responders, and local hospitals during a mass casualty incident.

Buena EMS worked alongside the NJ EMS Task Force, multiple Atlantic County Fire and EMS agencies, and several partners from surrounding counties. These types of exercises are key to making sure we’re all ready to respond together when real emergencies happen.

Great teamwork and a strong showing all around!
