Did you know it’s National Hospital Week❓❗️

LPH has done something fun everyday to celebrate our Hosptial and Staff! Coffee carts, lunches, food trucks…

Today, the Foundation debuted their “Foundation Store” for its employees to shop at during our potluck event!

“Take what you need the cost is free”

•pens, sanitizer, stickers, postcards, trailmix, CANDY, keychains….!

Just a little way to remind staff that the Foundation is here to support them, too! 😍

We were inspired ✨and think it’s important to share what we are up to and maybe inspire others to do small /fun things for their staff!

We are grateful for Todd!

With the regretful passing of our CEO, R. Wayne Reid, the Langdon Prairie Health Board of Directors wishes to announce that Todd Christensen has agreed to take on the role of interim CEO.

Todd joined Langdon Prairie Health as the Chief Financial Officer in December 2025.

Todd brings a strong combination of professional expertise and meaningful ties to our region. He grew up on a farm in NW MN, attended college in Fargo, ND, worked in Langdon as a CPA in the 2000’s, and has long expressed a desire to return to the area. His background reflects a true understanding of rural values and the unique challenges and opportunities that define our area.

Todd has 20 years of leadership experience in Critical Access and Rural Regional Hospitals, serving in both VP and CFO roles at such facilities as Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing MN, Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital in Grand Rapids MN, Sanford Health of Thief River Falls MN, and Kittson Healthcare in Hallock MN. Todd brings a wealth of experience in driving change, optimizing efficiency, and building culture, while making healthcare organizations a thriving partner in their communities. His depth of knowledge in rural healthcare finance and operations is a tremendous asset to Langdon Prairie Health and continues to strengthen our organization.

Todd is passionate about improving access to quality care close to home and ensuring that rural communities have a healthy, forward thinking and adaptive hospital that can grow and support the community through the complex changes of the healthcare industry.

Todd is excited to carry on the mission and vision of Langdon Prairie Health and be a part of improving the health of our community, while ensuring that all who walk through our door are seen as more than just a patient.
