I am sure that you have encountered situations when there seems to be no excess weight, you do not eat anything harmful, but there is fat on your belly and it is not removed by exercises😱

It's all the fault of a hormone called cortisol. This hormone is produced by the adrenal glands during stress.The stress hormone affects the distribution of fat reserves and directs them to the internal organs. This is how the visceral (internal) fat is formed and it is situated deep under the surface of the abdominal wall.

Cortisol leads to the breakdown of triglycerides (complex fats) and muscle tissue.
Mainly because of the breakdown of triglycerides the glucose levels increase ➡️ insulin increases in response ➡️ as a result, we cannot lose weight
During this process, glucose and free fat are formed in the lymph. If this contaminated lymph is not removed within a week, it will automatically lead to the formation of new fat cells.

In case of problems with cortisol, the usual weight loss strategies do not work. The peculiarity of the belly from stress is that, even eating low-calorie food, the weight will still grow. I don't really like using the adjective INTUITIVE in relation to nutrition, because everyone's intuition works differently. And someone's intuition may tell you to eat 10 buns before going to bed every day.

There is a reasonable explanation for this!

1. You eat up your stress
We drown out our problems instead of really living them. Food is the fastest way to get hormones of joy (euphoria lasts 40 minutes). So there is a dependence on food, as well as on drugs. The mechanism of action on the brain is the same.

2. The reason that we cannot lose weight is often a subconscious fear of real, adult life with its dangers and risks. "Excess weight is a psychological defense! You unconsciously strive to become inedible for the world, hoping thus to avoid suffering."

3. You lack joy

I had two pregnancies and after each of them I had my own experience of losing weight.

After the first pregnancy, I had no particular difficulties with losing weight. I just kept proper nutrition and trained in the gym.

How sport taught me not to give up

From the age of 6 to 17, I was professionally engaged in sports acrobatics, and even have the rank of Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan🥇

But everything was not so cloudy and rosy.
I quit sports many times because I wanted to live in the moment and feel that very youth. But every time I overstepped myself, took all my will into my fist and returned to the sport again💪🏻

Thanks to sports, especially in the teenage period I understood what it means to set a goal and reach it and what pitfalls can occur on your way.
I know myself what ups and downs are. I literally learned to go to my goal through tears and endless training. And most importantly, being at a young age, I learned to work with my fears of competition and accept possible losses😔

During this time, my strong-willed character was formed.
