"Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel (which means, God with us)."Matthew 1:23

This Christmas may be different than usual, a little smaller, a little quieter. But the hope and joy we have in the birth of Christ remains the same. Let us celebrate that today. God is with us. Our Savior is here.

Merry Christmas!

You're tired of wearing your mask and social distancing. We get it, we really do. But it is so important that you continue to be diligent. The risk of transmission of COVID-19 is higher now than at any other time in the past eight months. Let us do good by loving one another and protecting one another.

Welcome back! Just a reminder for those of you who have traveled out of state, you'll need to either isolate for 14 days or receive a negative test. Also don't forget to go to the health screening station in Stearns Lobby to get your wristband.⠀

Thank you for helping us keep Cairn University safe!

It's easy to be thankful when our circumstances are good. But we are called to give thanks even when we face hardship or disappointments. This doesn't mean we should to be thankful for our suffering and disappointments, but that in our suffering and disappointments, we should give thanks for God and trust that he is working all things together for good.

Gratitude is a demonstration of faith in God's goodness and provision. No matter our circumstances, we can always be thankful for who God is, what he has done, and what we are trusting him to do.

Comment what you're thankful for!

The safest way to celebrate Thanksgiving is to celebrate at home with the people you live with. Consider having a virtual Thanksgiving meal and celebration instead.

If you do host or attend a gathering, here are some important guidelines to follow to make it safer:
-Wear a mask whenever you're not eating
-Stay at least 6 feet away from those you don't live with
-Remember to wash your hands
-Avoid traveling
-Limit the number of guests
-Avoid sharing food and utensils
-Have one person serve

Wishing you all a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

Have a great Thanksgiving break! Praying for much needed rest and protection during this week off.
