October garden chores!

Garlic is so easy to grow. Just plant garlic seeds in October. In July pull them, braid them & hang them in a warm dry place (we use our garage). Once cured, clean them up & they are ready to use. Easy peasy!

I made this cute bathing suit cover-up for our Mexico trip. It was such a quick & easy sew.

I thrifted the fabric from a thrift shop in Lewes, DE. 3.5 yards for $3.50. At the time, I didn’t know what I was going to make with it but it was such a soft jersey knit, that I couldn’t pass up the bargain.

The bottoms are a boxer pattern from Etsy & the top is a New Look pattern from Joann’s. Let me know if want info on the patterns.

Productive day over here. Made some garlic cheddar sourdough, bone broth is simmering, elderberry immune boosting gummies a pumpkin bar & cutting out a pattern.

Also, got a couple of walks in and a weight workout.

I was honored to be a tester for the Henderson pants sewing pattern for Styla.

It was such a skill building experience with beautifully written instructions. Jenn Meitin Williams did an amazing job drafting these!
