In a perfect world there wouldnt be a need to be doing what we are doing for mental health and su***de prevention but as we all know the world is far from perfect! With saying that, to see so many people come together the way we have to try to make a difference for ourselves, a loved one and our community has been a really beautiful thing to see happen over the years!
For me personally this event has helped shape who i am today and helped me get through the whole range of emotions of losing someone I cared about to su***de. I truly can't thank everyone enough for the love and support through the years!
Last year we almost doubled our previous year high on the donation.
This year, we crushed last years high! The event itself raised $3,268! We got an extremely generous donation of $2,000 and we have raised $800 so far online! TOTALING TO $6,268!
$6,268 donation isn't done by one person! It's all of us, everyone involved running the event, the musicians/artists and everyone that just comes to support! Thank you to all of you!
P.s. I'm waiting for checks to clear but I will post a picture of the actual donation on our walk page as soon as it's available.
