Woods Services

Woods Services Woods supports children & adults with disabilities or challenges to achieve their highest potential Fulfilling Lives.

Woods was founded a century ago by visionary Mollie Woods with two simple goals -- to advance the quality of life and standard of care for individuals with disabilities. She gained international recognition for her groundbreaking work in helping children with exceptional needs experience the joy of achievement and lead fulfilling lives. Today, we’ve broadened her mission to serve people of all age

s and levels of care with a unique model that drives greater achievement for individuals -- and best practices for the industry. We do that by applying leading research in real-world environments to create better outcomes in the four key life areas – Educational, Home and Community Supports, Health, Wellness and Therapeutic and Vocational. Our model relies on the strength of our highly-trained, highly-motivated and extremely dedicated team of clinicians, educators and counselors. Just as Mollie did 100 years ago, we believe our mission and our model are one in the same -- Exceptional People.

Bright lights. Long waits. Unfamiliar environments. Traditional healthcare settings can be overwhelming.

This World Autism Month, Jesse reminds us of something simple: opportunity changes everything.

With patience, support, and a willingness to teach, new skills become possible, and dreams become achievable.

At Woods, we see every day that communication doesn’t look the same for everyone,
but that doesn’t make it any less meaningful.

This World Autism Month, we’re challenging ourselves and our communities
to slow down, stay patient, and choose understanding.

Woods System of Care was proud to sponsor the Red Ball benefiting the American Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania, with beautiful floral arrangements by our own Yellow Daffodil.

Even more meaningful was sharing the evening alongside some of the individuals we support, who joined us to experience the energy, connection, and celebration firsthand. Opportunities like this matter. They create space for inclusion, visibility, and real community engagement.

At Woods, we believe everyone deserves to be part of moments like these. And we’re committed to making that happen.

This recognition means so much to our community. It’s a powerful example of how people with disabilities can excel in the workplace and beyond.

Woods Wear has been named Best Specialty Apparel in the Bucks Happening List 2026! Every purchase supports meaningful employment and opportunity for the individuals we serve.

Thank you to everyone who voted, shopped, and continues to believe in what we’re building. 💙

Too often, people assume individuals with autism can’t work or contribute meaningfully. Patrick proves otherwise.

He’s a valued employee at Woods Wear and The Yellow Daffodil, as well as in the community. Different roles, different settings, same impact.

More importantly, Patrick reminds us that everyone deserves to be treated equally. When we move past assumptions and give people real opportunities, their abilities speak for themselves.

Capability isn’t the question—opportunity is. Let’s rethink what’s possible.
