Dentures are a set of artificial teeth that replaces your natural teeth which were lost or cannot be saved due to reasons that include: Gum disease, Rampant caries, Genetic Defects and Trauma. Dentures can put the smile back on your face by providing better chewing ability and greater aesthetic appeal. Do you accept dental insurance? At this moment, we are working on accepting insurance. In the meantime, we will be happy submit a claim on your behalf. Your insurance company will then reimburse you for any covered fees that you have paid out of pocket. We show our practice's fees so you can have a reasonable estimate of the cost of the services you will need. Please note that additional fees will be charged for clinical services such as consultation, radiographs. When should I replace my denture? Typically dentures need to be replaced every 5 to 10 years. With time, the jaw bone shrinks and the denture teeth may wear down causing the denture to become loose and not as effective in chewing food adequately. You need to have them checked during a yearly dental visit. Can I get an emergency appointment? Our practice is able to provide same-day treatment for patients that are in pain and need emergency extractions and/or denture repairs. The state of your health and any medications you may be taking will determine if extraction services can be provided. What if my denture hurts? It is not unusual for a new denture to hurt and create sore spots on your gums. Just call our practice and we will schedule a time that is convenient for you to return to have your denture adjusted. Adjustments help eliminate sore spots, and there is typically no charge for the 1-3 years after getting a new denture made by us. Otherwise, a small fee is charged for adjustments.
