📢 Beginning Wednesday, October 1 — Maryland is officially implementing Eric’s ID Law.

This law allows individuals with hidden disabilities to add a butterfly symbol 🦋 to their driver’s license or ID card for free.

💡 The butterfly serves as a discreet, respectful way to let first responders, law enforcement, and others know that a person may have a non-visible disability — helping ensure safety, understanding, and proper support.

✨ 3 easy ways to add the butterfly symbol:
1️⃣ Through your myMVA account
2️⃣ At any MVA kiosk
3️⃣ At any MVA branch

Through carefully crafted programs, Autism Ally aims to meet the immediate needs of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities while simultaneously working to find long-term ways to improve/enrich their lives.
