I just wanted to give a major life update of what's been going on with me recently as I'm currently on short term disability.
I just got a major surgery one week ago to remove uterine fibroids, but during the surgery they also found out I had stage 3 endometriosis.
I had no idea, but Stage 3 endometriosis is a system-wide chronic condition that affects so much more than just my reproductive system. Endometriosis can impact other organs like my bowels, bladder, and even my lungs, making it a complex and unpredictable journey.
Additionally, it's also affecting my fertility, which is a whole new level of emotions to navigate. I know that I'll never be able to give birth naturally now.
I'm still processing what this means for my future, but I'm determined to take control of my health and find ways to manage my symptoms. Endometriosis awareness is key, and I'm hoping to use my experience to help others who are struggling. If you're going through something similar, know you're not alone. Let's support each other!
Thank God it's removed, but now I'm on a new journey.
I will be out of work recovering for 6 weeks. I created a gofundme if you'd like to donate. It's helping me to cover medical bills as well as just helping me with food and reducing the stress load.
Link to my gofundme in the comments.
Also if you prefer to donate another way that's fine too.
Thank you for reading this far! ❤️
