When Marianne started working with us, her focus, energy, and stamina were very low. She shared:

"I was amazed at how different this program is compared with regular physical therapy. I’m 73 and was very deconditioned from surgeries, chemo and other medications. My focus, energy and stamina were very low. I was motivated to maintain remission and that was enough to get me involved in the program which was tailored to where I was physically and emotionally. The instructors are wonderful and very knowledgeable about the issues involved in cancer recovery. Since starting about 2 months ago, I now work out with 2-3 pound ankle weights and hand weights. I have also incorporated the exercises at home so that I exercise about 5 times a week. That is a miracle! Maintaining health and remission takes work and commitment because the stakes are high. The staff here are very involved in long term sustained recovery. Our goals are the same. It is really a great program with great therapists."

Parking tips! Our new location has plenty of parking, so don't park too far away!

If you have mobility issues: be sure to drive toward the front row of the building parking for access (closest to the front entrance). There are ample handicapped spaces and a row of “one hour parking only” spaces. Please use these spaces for ease of access.

This beautiful building is our new home! Thank you for supporting us through this transition so that we can be an even better resource for you in your healing journey. We are excited for all that this new space has to offer, including:

SAFETY: Our building is cleaned to medical-grade standards and there will no longer be exposure to others not wearing masks. Our mask guidelines remain in place. We will continue to use (and expand the use of) HEPA filters throughout the clinic.

COMFORT: An extra spacious and comfortable reception area.

SETTING: Serene location, adjacent to nicely wooded area. Incredible views from the gym and treatment room areas.

EXPANSION: We will have 4 total private treatment rooms (vs. 2 now). The new space will also enable us to add more therapists and offer expanded hours of service!

EASE OF ACCESS: Plenty of parking, no curbs to navigate. Very easy to locate, just off of Riverside Parkway.

NEAR INOVA: If you have related appointments at or near the hospital, this should make all of your visits more convenient.

(FUTURE) NEW SERVICES: With our extra space and freedom to use our space our way, it is our plan to add many adjunct services, some of which may include: lymphatic/oncology massage therapist, nutrition/dietitian services, wellness and healing services, and cancer exercise training. All coming soon!

Before and after of our new space... check out that view!

Taken a few weeks ago, the first photo shows the demolition of the prior offices. This particular space will be used for our new gym.

The future looks bright for Oncology Rehab and Wellness, and we cannot wait to work with our patients in this beautiful space and enjoy many more sunsets.
