Amberwell Lansing Clinic is excited to welcome Rachel Frye, FNP-C, to our primary care team! Rachel brings a deep passion for patient-centered care, with a special focus on women’s health. She is committed to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment where patients feel heard, valued, and supported.
Rachel was drawn to Amberwell because of its strong community connections and dedication to expanding access to care in the Leavenworth and Lansing area. She’s excited to be part of that growth and to build long-term relationships with her patients.
“I always wanted to work in primary care,” Rachel shared. “It’s an honor to be part of Amberwell’s expansion in Lansing and to help provide care that truly makes a difference.”
Her path to becoming a nurse practitioner was shaped by a passion for patient education and advocacy. With a background in both bedside nursing and clinical instruction, she takes a holistic approach to care—supporting patients physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Rachel and her husband live in Shawnee, Kansas, with their dog, Wrenley. She enjoys staying active through volleyball, working out, and trying new hobbies like pickleball. She’s also dedicated to community outreach through her church, participating in programs that support local families and individuals in need.
