Yay for first posts! Let me introduce myself; I am a brand new birth doula serving about an hour out of the Lansing area. I’m very excited to embark on this journey and help give support and knowledge to parents and families of all kinds!
I love arts and crafts, animals, music, and photography.
As a birth doula my duty will be to make sure you have all of the power over your birth. From the moment you contact me my focus will be on you and you alone.
5 years ago I was in the room while my sister delivered my niece, my first time witnessing a birth. I was extremely intrigued and wanted to know all there is about the process.
I have now finished a DONA international birth doula class and am working towards certification. I plan to take a DONA postpartum class as well as lactation, bereavement, and maybe some on pregnancy yoga or lamaze - anything I can find!
This will be a long but exciting and fulfilling journey for myself and my business to finally be where I want to be.
If you decide to give me the honor of supporting you through your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum I can honestly say that I will provide you the best love and care that I can, and I can’t wait to help you have the best birth possible!
