Sabrina Adleman, owner of Unearth Your Balance, offers holistic approaches to help find more balance in life. Reflexology is a science based on the principle that there are reflexes in our hands and feet that correspond to organs, glands, and different parts of the body. During a session these reflexes are stimulated. Reflexology reduces stress/tension, helps to balance the body, and increase circulation in the body. Yoga is an ancient Indian tradition. The term "yoga" means "to yoke" or "to unite" in Sankrit. The breath, body, mind, and spirit are united in yoga. Yoga can improve flexibility and strength, increase circulation, rid your body of toxins, increase focus and balance, release tension and improve immune function. Perhaps most of all yoga can help give you peace of mind. Aromatherapy is the science of using the essence of plants (essential oils) to help balance and promote health of body, mind, and spirit.

You’re not imagining it. Your body and mind are deeply connected, and when one is off, the other feels it too.

Here’s what happens when stress, illness, or injury takes a toll on your body:

This is what my “five-minute reset” turned into… two pups sprinting laps around the yard while I just stood there laughing. 😅

It’s messy, joyful, and exactly what I needed — a reminder that movement doesn’t always have to be planned. Sometimes it’s just about pausing to watch joy in motion. 💛

When I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism years ago, I felt completely overwhelmed.

My kids were little, life was chaotic, and I was exhausted — yet every article I read told me I needed to change everything to feel better. My diet. My routine. My workouts. My entire life.

It was too much… so I didn’t do anything at all.

Then one day I decided to try something different: just one small thing I could do. A short walk. A deep breath before tea or handling a toddler meltdown. One tiny action I could stick with — even on the busiest days.

✨ Ever been told… “You're getting older. Get used to it”?

I’ve heard some version of it) too many times.

👉 When my thyroid was off: “If you don’t take this, you could die.” ⚠️
👉 When my 2-year-old was constipated: “She’ll just always deal with that.” 👶
👉 When my bloodwork was strange: “Sometimes you just have to wait for the disease to show itself.” 🩺

What I really heard: “There’s nothing you can do.”

And here’s the truth: that same message shows up for women 45+ too. Brain fog, fatigue, stiffness? The default answer is often: “That’s just a part of getting older.” 😔

But common doesn’t equal a life sentence.

💪 Your body is adaptable.
🧠 Your brain is resilient.
✨ Gentle, consistent movement can change how you feel.

I don't accept “there’s nothing you can do” as the final word. And I believe you deserve to know the small, doable steps that actually make a difference. 💛
