At Firefly we strive to capture the spirit of yoga, while making it engaging, challenging, fun, and accessible. Our instructors pull from a variety of modern and traditional yoga, mindfulness, cardiovascular conditioning and plyometrics to design sequences providing you with the strength, reflection and acceptance you need to face the day ahead. From classic Ashtanga and Vinyasa classes, to decidedly untraditional classes like Kick Your Asana, Spartan Power Fusion and Detox to Retox, we offer a practice as individual as you. Washington Square in Downtown Lansing. We've been working hard at restoring the second floor of a 100 year old building with a goal of making it more efficient yet still trying to keep the integrity of the original architecture. While we have found new life by means of re-purposing lots of materials and pieces that were in the building we've also taken great care in choosing some new improvements we think you'll love. We are the area's first studio to use the state of the art infrared radiant heating system from Enerjoy. This type of heat feels like you are under the warmth of the sun and it also is more efficient than a traditional forced air system. We also went with 100% LED lighting throughout the space. Come stop by to take a look and/or drop in for a class. We look forward to being a part of this community!

It’s been a minute since we’ve had the hammocks up — and we are so excited to offer Candlelight Aerial again.

This isn’t a performance. It’s an opportunity to be held.
We’ll explore gentle supported movement, a couple opportunities to invert (always optional), and end with a 30-minute floating Yoga Nidra in full candlelight.
Warm (not hot).

Tiny things. Big joy.
We’re kicking off something new. Our first Creative Back Room Series event is happening Sunday, March 8 from 1–4pm — a Polymer Clay Miniatures Pop-Up led by the wildly talented Steph Fluegeman (artist, baker, spin queen + creative force).
Make 1–3 mini pieces — magnets, earrings, pendants, keychains, tiny desk art… whatever your imagination cooks up.
Beginner friendly.
Adults + kids 8+.
BYOB + snacks welcome. (Adult bevs too)
All supplies included.
$30 per person.
We’ll bake pieces at the studio — or you can finish at home if you need to head out early.
✨ And this is just the beginning.
The back room is becoming a space for creativity, connection, and community beyond the mat.

Her yoga journey started right here 10 years ago with her very first yoga class at Firefly — talk about a full-circle moment. Now she’s a 200-hour RYT (via ELHY’s teacher training + apprenticeship) and she’s bringing the heat every Monday at 7 PM with Strong Slow Flow.

Big news, Fireflies — our back room is officially open!
Starting this Monday, Jenn C will be teaching her class in the new space at 5:30 PM. The back room is gently heated (80–85°), perfect for slowing down and soaking up extra comfort with bolsters and blankets provided.
Then at 7 PM, we’re thrilled to welcome Amy Cumbow to the Firefly fam with a brand-new Strong Slow Flow class in the front room — a steady, empowering way to start your week strong.

Heads up that all the kiddos will be downtown this Friday for Trick or Treat on the square. If you are going to the 530pm Hot Pilates class, please plan a little extra time for parking or get there early and help pass out goodies with me this year. Beetlejuice and Lydia won’t be there this year, but you’ll have to stop by to see who will be:)
