The easy-to-follow program that lets you move to the beat at your own speed. It's an in Welcome to Zumba Gold with Margie! Hello everyone!

Some changes are being made to our schedule. These change are effective 5/1/22. All online classes will be prerecorded Zumba Gold and Zumba Gold Toning. They will be offered Sunday thru Saturday. Classes will be available starting at 5:00 am and you will have access to the class for 24 hours. I will email you the link and student code daily. Classes will rotate everyday between Zumba Gold and Zumba Gold Toning. The fee for this option is $25/month!!!! I accept PayPal, Venmo, check, and cash (if you are local). This is a great option if are traveling or just want something extra in your daily workout routine. We also are still doing in person classes in the community room at the DeWitt City Hall. These classes run in sessions. These classes are run through DARA. You can register for classes on their website. Classes are listed under “Enrichment/Camps and Fitness”. Monday nights are Zumba Gold and Friday mornings are Zumba Gold Toning. You can also drop in for an $8 fee. Monday:
Zumba Gold 6:15 pm (In-person)

Friday:
Zumba Gold Toning 9:00 am (in-person)

Sunday thru Saturday:
Prerecorded Zumba Gold or ZG Toning (available starting at 5:00 am) class runs for 24 hours

Oh boy! I have a diagnosis!!!! Keep in mind I don’t have tonsils! I have what they call a Peritonsillar Abscess. And the symptoms are no joke! I experienced every symptom. A trip to the absolutely useless Sparrow ER, a date with my doc and a trip to 98.6 Emergent. I put my big girl pants on and willingly received two shots today! Good news is right at this moment I feel pretty good. I start my steroid tomorrow along with all of the other meds that I am on. Fingers crossed that this all works and I will be back up and running next week!🤞 Thank you to everyone who have taken the time to check in on me. It sure makes a girl feel better when she was feeling so so yucky! And thank you for understanding that I seriously needed this time to heal. Trust me…this has been very hard for me to rest and be out and about doing what brings me so much joy and happiness. I truly appreciate all of you!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hey everyone! I need to share some news. All classes (assisted living communities and Zumba Gold Toning) this week have been canceled. Don’t worry we will be back! I am dealing with an infection in my throat that seems to be on the move to my ear and upper portion of my cheek. Pain medication has been started but at times the pain is pretty bad. My doctor doesn’t want me teaching and wants me to rest. If you know me…this IS NOT easy!!! I am listening this time!! It even hurts to talk!

What does this mean for our ZG Toning session? Fingers crossed we will be able to start next week. The price of the session will be adjusted to reflect the canceled classes. If you already paid, you will receive a one class refund…you know it works😉. Keep an eye on this page for updates. I am in rough shape right now. Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in by tomorrow and relieve some of the pain. I miss you all dearly…I was so excited for new playlists and meeting some new friends. No worries…I got this and 🤞we will be dancing again next week!!❤️🤩💃🏼

Good morning! Unfortunately I need to cancel our Zumba Gold Toning class that was supposed to meet tonight (11/3) in Wacousta. Friday’s class (11/7) will still meet at 9:15 am at the Watertown Township Gym, 12803 S. Wacousta Rd, Grand Ledge 48837. I am so sorry for the late notice and inconvenience. We will start Monday night classes next week.

I wanted to share something fun I did this week! I am celebrating 12 years of Zumba Gold this year so I decided to hold a special event for all of my chair class communities. (For those of you who don’t know this…I go to independent/assisted living/memory care communities and hold chair Zumba classes with the residents.) Not wveryone could make it, but we had over 50 peeps join us for a special lunch, cake, Zumba giveaways and a special chair class. I also wanted to to give a special shoutout to all of my “Zumba Gold Angels” that came out to lend a hand at the event! I couldn’t have done it without you! This is just a small snippet of what we do in class. Have I mentioned lately how much I love what I do?❤️🤩🥰

Zumba Gold and Zumba Gold Toning classes with Margie (as of 1/1/20)

Happy New Year! 2020 is going to be a great year! There have been no venue changes, but come great changes to how you sign up for classes at Valley Farms Community Center. Instead of signing up for a session, you will now buy a block of classes (6 or 12). You will now make up your own schedule of classes to fit YOUR schedule! Awesome...right? Now when you have things pop up, you won’t have to miss a class. You just simply come to a class at the community center that fits into your schedule! COOL! Classes start on Monday, January 6th! Make sure to get registered!

Monday: 6:00 pm (Zumba Gold) - Valley Farms Community Center - $30 for 6 classes, $50 for 12 classes or $7 drop in. Call 517-482-5117 to register

Tuesday: 4:45 pm (Zumba Gold) - General Motors Grand River Assembly Plant - This class is for current salary and hourly employees. Classes start on January 14, 2020

Wednesday: 8:30 am (Zumba Gold Toning) - Valley Farms Community Center - $30 for 6 classes, $50 for 12 classes or $7 drop in. Call 517-482-5117 to register. Please bring a set of 1, 2, or 3 lb. weights to use in class.
