MCEP Celebrates its 56th Anniversary!

The American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) was founded in 1968 by John G. Wiegenstein, MD, a physician from Lansing, Michigan (pictured), to develop the specialty of Emergency Medicine. On this day, October 27th, 1969, the Michigan College of Emergency Physicians (MCEP) was one of the first chapters of ACEP to be chartered.

On our anniversary, we wanted to give a huge thank you to all our members for their service to our association and being on the front-line of emergency medicine in Michigan.
