We find awareness in curiosity, not criticism. The absence of judgment creates more space caring, rather than comparing—space for compassion. Each time you choose awareness, let it be enough in that moment. There are no “right” ways to experience yoga off your mat. Our Connect & Reflect discussions that occur virtually every other week tend to gravitate toward Thich Nhat Hanh and his teachings. He reminds us that ‘noticing without judgment is not passive—it’s an act of deep presence that transforms how we relate to ourselves and others.We do this by noticing the breath, not controlling it; by feeling sensation without labeling it and by observing our thoughts without becoming attached to them. A simple mantra of “”breathing in, I know I am breathing in”” and “”breathing out, I know I am breathing out”” helps guide this part of your practice’.
