Mission Statement:
The mission on MMMTI is to provide local continuing education to professionals and awareness to the public about massage and the different ways it can benefit the community. Our goal is to include massage therapy research services at a reduced rate or free to the indigent population. We also plan to retain the services of other massage therapist as volunteers for various fundraising events. We have begun the process of working with many vendors to offer Massage Therapy Supplies at a discounted rate and Internships will a be available to graduating student therapists.

Life can be heavy when you’re fighting cancer, living with chronic pain, or carrying the invisible weight of trauma. For many, simple acts of care—like the healing power of massage—can offer a lifeline of relief, comfort, and hope.

At the Mid-Michigan Massage Therapy Institute (MMMTI), we believe everyone deserves access to that kind of care, no matter their circumstances. Through our nonprofit program, we provide low- or no-cost massage and wellness services to people in our community who are experiencing significant health or financial hardship—such as cancer patients, veterans with PTSD, and others on their healing journeys.
