3 Tips for Setting Boundaries
Boundaries aren’t walls — they’re bridges to peace.

1️⃣ Know What You Need
Pause and check in. What drains you, and what restores you? Clarity is your compass.

2️⃣ Say It Simply
No need for long explanations.
Try: “That doesn’t work for me.” or “I need some quiet time.”
Clear is kind.

3️⃣ Stick to It (No Guilt!)
People might test your limits — stay steady.
Every “no” creates space for what truly matters.

Feeling overwhelmed? You don’t have to navigate it alone. The link in our bio can help you take the first step.

Managing Holiday Anxiety: Finding Calm in the Chaos
The holidays can be beautiful — but they can also bring pressure, overstimulation, and old emotional patterns.

Here’s how to protect your peace this season 👇

1️⃣ Prepare Emotionally for Family Dynamics
Ground yourself before gatherings.
Ask: “What do I need to feel safe, calm, and supported?”
You can love your family and still hold boundaries.

2️⃣ Cope with Sensory or Social Overwhelm
The lights, noise, and energy can be a lot.
Take micro-breaks, breathe, or step outside for a moment.
Small resets = big relief.

3️⃣ Set Realistic Expectations
You don’t have to make everything magical.
Good enough is enough.
Connection > perfection.

4️⃣ Travel Mindfully
Build in rest time before and after travel.
Pack comfort items and reminders of calm. Your nervous system travels with you.

5️⃣ Create an Exit Plan (No Guilt!)
It’s okay to leave early or take breaks.
A simple “I’m going to step out for a bit” is enough.
Protecting your peace isn’t rude, it’s responsible.

6️⃣ Anchor in Small Rituals
Morning journaling, evening walks, or slow breaths before bed — tiny rituals that remind your body: you’re safe.

Not sure how to help a friend who’s struggling? You don’t need to have all the answers — just being there can mean everything.

Here are a few ways you can support someone in crisis:
🗣 Ask directly: “Are you okay?” or “Are you thinking about suicide?”
👂 Listen without judgment: Let them speak freely — no need to fix it.
🫂 Stay connected: Check in regularly. Consistency shows you care.
📞 Know when to get help: If they’re in danger, don’t stay silent — contact a crisis line or professional.

📲 Share resources: Sometimes, knowing where to turn can save a life.
Your presence matters more than you know.

If you or someone you know needs help, call or text 988 (U.S. Su***de & Crisis Lifeline) — anytime, 24/7.

Sometimes, the signs are subtle — but they matter.

Knowing what to look for could save a life. Here are some common warning signs that someone may be in crisis:

⚠️ Talking about feeling hopeless or wanting to die
⚠️ Withdrawing from friends, family, or activities
⚠️ Sudden mood changes — especially calm after deep sadness
⚠️ Giving away belongings or saying goodbye
⚠️ Increased use of drugs or alcohol
⚠️ Feeling like a burden to others
⚠️ Sleeping too much or too little

If you notice any of these signs, don’t ignore them. Reach out, check in, and ask directly how they’re feeling.

You don’t need to have the perfect words — just your presence can be powerful.

If someone is in immediate danger, call or text 988 (U.S. Su***de & Crisis Lifeline) — free, confidential, 24/7.
