Dear friends,

Happy Mental Health Awareness Month! We’re excited to announce that this year we’ve joined together with Fountain House and Clubhouse International for a Week of Action.

From May 19-23, Clubhouses across the country are joining a week of action to push for more support of community-based mental healthcare. All month, we’ll be sharing research findings, news, and member stories that show the importance of expanding access to mental healthcare.

Clubhouse participation in the US creates an estimated savings of $682 million annually, and 2023 polling by Lake Research Partners indicated 90% of voters favor public funding for community-based programming that supports the recovery of people living with serious mental illness – such as the Clubhouse Model.
