About Body, Hart, and Soul
I’ve been working with essential oils for around 15 years, ever since my foster mother introduced me to them. She was a distributor for a company that no longer exists and had used some Lavender Lavandula angustifolia on me one night when I couldn’t sleep. I actually fell asleep quickly and slept deeply that night. It was after this that I decided to do some research into the different therapeutic actions of different essential oil’s and how they could be used. Later an event would happen that would really show the potency and power that essential oils and aromatherapy can have.
It was during my high school. When my foster mom was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymph Oma. I had a really weak moment and really lost it emotionally. My foster mom had one of her friends put some Geranium essential oil on the back of my neck and it took my emotional state from an emotional mess to someone who was able to except the news and work towards overcoming my fears of losing her.
Over the years since she introduced me to the essential oil‘s I learned their uses and their smells. And wanted to create a business where I could introduce people to the essential oils and their power. So I started to create bath and body care products that were scented with essential oil’s and essential oil blends to create products that were therapeutically beneficial as well as relaxing.
After years of using the essential oil’s I wanted to build a steady and concrete foundation of knowledge on the properties of essential oil’s, There are dangers, ways to use them, and how they work. This led me to the American College of healthcare sciences for an online degree and complementary alternative medicine with a focus in aromatherapy. I just finished that associates degree in April and plan on going back for a bachelors in integrative health sciences.
