Red flags of course including "love bombing" , "future faking", pretending to be interested in your life whilst giving little compliments to get you to open up...and digging for any information that can make you vulnerable or be used against you and or to hurt you- you think you are connecting but they are finding ammunition to hurt and manipulate.

Jealousy, betrayal, or an attempt to humiliate you? Not your friend, not your family. Don't let it happen again. You can forgive and move on, but remember who they are inside. Love yourself enough to not go. Stay away from people who are close with those who seek to hard you as well. Boundaries placed. When someone else asks you to come visit and you know the person or people who are toxic will be present, say no, I can't. That's all - you don't have to explain yourself.
