Saturday we held Family Fun Day and it was a huge hit! Our activities director Nina, our Executive Director Dan, our business office team, nurses, and other staff all volunteered to help make a very special day for the residents and their family and friends! The BBQ lunch, live music, bounce houses, hobby horse racing, and most of: PETTING ZOO were all very much enjoyed! Thank you to everyone who attended, helped, and made such a beautiful event possible!!

Finnish-American owned Rosalita's is having a big day on Cinco de Mayo! We are nothing if not global here at the Village. We have residents and staff from over a dozen different countries!

The Finnish (new) owners of neighborhood favorite Rosalita's Tex-Mex Grill are making a huge splash (no pun intended!). We've heard there is going to be some amazing new menu items, including this Big TE### burger!

Last week, activities director Nina was surprised with a special thank you during our Volunteer Appreciation event. Our volunteers add so much special value and care to our day-to-day needs both behind the scenes and more externally, from decorating to religious services, but it is all tied together with a bow by our beloved Nina. She gives more of herself than most, and puts so much thought, care, energy, and concern into each residents' life. Always looking for a new way to bridge the gaps, Nina is a very important member of our life here at Lepokoti. We thank her and all of our volunteers for their countless hours making life a little better for everyone here!
