Part 2: getting Pam ready for her wedding
To help fade Pam’s dark spots- also known as solar lentigines- we are using prescription-strength Hydroquinone 4%
As the main ingredient in our Brightening B complex, hydroquinone acts to block the enzyme tyrosine’s which helps means it blocks melanocyte production and activation of pigment.
These are the conditions that hydroquinone helps improve: dark spots, melasma, & post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
If you have any of these conditions, hydroquinone can be very helpful. We have on our skin care shelf the Brightening B complex - with added ingredients of arbutin and kojic acid- to help further brightening and more even skin tone.
Note: this must be done under supervision of one of our providers or nurses as overuse can cause other issues.
