Founded in 2018 by the mother of a child with autism, Journey has grown with 2 facilities in Lapeer County and we offer families quality services through our highly trained staff. At JTC, we understand that each child is unique and we cater all of our programming individually to each child. Every patient is carefully evaluated to determine his or her areas of strength and weakness. At that time, a one-of-a-kind therapy plan is developed and implemented by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts. At JTC, we walk with families through every step of the Autism journey!

"I am thankful for so many things. To start, I am thankful for a job I love!! Watching our clients learn and grow is such an amazing feeling. God led me to this job because he knew I needed to learn from our clients. The co-workers who have become so much more than co-workers, they have become family!! I am thankful for my son, he is my reason for living, my mom who is the strongest woman I know, family, friends and my animals!!"

Thanksgiving has passed for another year, but gratitude is appropriate every day of the year!

Here we have Rachel, a Registered Behavior Technician at our JTC2 and 3 locations.

"I’m so grateful for the opportunity to help change families' lives and to cherish the time with each kiddo because you never know what milestone could be hit when you’re there. Learning something new happens all the time," she said. "Also, always be grateful for what and who you have in your life because everyone is going through something and some struggles are bigger than others. To see a kiddo overcome something hard to them is worth everything!"

We are big on celebrating those accomplishments here at Journey Therapy Center. Thank you so much, Rachel, for the part you play in our kids' successes!
