Dr. Allen's son Matthew tragically died in an accident last week and a GoFundMe has been created to benefit his wife Natalie and their baby.

Many of Dr. Allen's patients may recognize Natalie from the front desk at the office. Though she stepped back from the in office role after the birth of their son, she continued to work remotely for us since.

Please donate if you are able to so that the burden on Matt's family can be a bit less during this difficult time.

A celebration of life will be held this Saturday and anyone that knew Matthew or wishes to support the family is invited to attend. The details for this can be found at the end of the obituary:

Due to a death in Dr. Allen's family, the office will be closed this week. Staff will still respond to messages and handle and urgent matters. For critical issues or emergencies, please go to the nearest emergency room or dial 911.

Our office is short staffed today and all calls are being directed to voicemail however we are open. If you have a non urgent matter to discuss with our staff, please leave a message and we will return your call at the first opportunity. Our office has 6 boxes of Enfamil Neuro Pro individual premixed formula bottles that have a use by date of April 1. We would rather give them away than let them expire before they can be distributed to new moms. If anyone can use these, please reply to this post for pickup instructions.

Dr. Allen's office is still without power as we wait for the electrical utility to replace the building's connection to the pole. The office will reopen on Tuesday after the holiday.
