I am feeling greatful and nostalgic this morning and I think about my journey of starting my therapy and then later my coaching businesses here in LaPorte, Indiana. I only knew one person when I first moved here. I was welcomed by other business owners and quickly made friends who have supported me not only in my work but even when life hit the hardest and they barely knew me! I am so grateful for this community and everyone I've encountered on my journey! Love and hugs to you all from the bottom of my heart!

Hi everyone!! Meet Gabbi (if you haven't already!) She is doing her clinical internship with me here at Life's Milestones! She's warm, funny and very patient! She has a few openings to get her caseload full! If you're interested, reach out and let us know! She might have 1 or 2 spots after school hours for adolescents 12 and up. He main openings are during the day and for adults!

Who: Anyone who has lost someone to su***de (no matter when)
What: A safe, confidential, in-person peer support group
When: 2nd Saturday each month • 10:00–11:30 a.m.
Where: Anam Cara Counseling (4293 N 400 W, La Porte, IN)
Facilitated by: Destiny Nugent, LSW and/or Stacey Garcelon, LMHCA, both trained Su***de Loss survivor (AFSP-certified)

Help me welcome my newest Intern, Gabbie! She is now taking clients! She does not take insurance. She works with children as young as 12 and with adults! More about Gabbie- Gabrielle Batchelor is a pre-licensed mental health counselor currently pursuing her degree at Capella University, with a bachelor’s in psychology from Virginia Wesleyan University. She’s passionate about creating a supportive, judgment-free space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow.

When she’s not studying or counseling, Gabbie is likely adding to her ever-growing book collection, hunting for unique rocks, or expanding her impressive LEGO collection...because who says play is just for kids?
