Celebrating nurse Christy!! Christy was a combat medic in the army for 22 years. The army then sent her to nursing school. She has been a nurse for 24 years. She has worked here at settlers for over nine years. Christy always brings her pup Abby in to visit with our residents and their loved ones and it always brightens everyone’s day! We so appreciate everything you do!

Happy Nurse’s week!! Today we celebrate Stephanie. Stephanie started out here as a certified nurses aide 13 years ago. She earned her nursing degree 3 years ago. Her favorite quote is “A woman is like a tea bag. You can’t tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water.”Stephanie decided to become a nurse because when her father died several nurses were there to offer support and comfort. One in particular was so personable that she still thinks of her to this day!
