Happy 2nd birthday to BMHA! It's been an amazing two years, and it's been inspiring to watch Phil follow his dream and build his vision.
First and foremost, thank you to all of our clients, past and present! We are grateful that you trust us and our clinicians to be a part of your growth journey. So many of you, and those in the public, pass our name along as well, thank you! We would not be here two years later if it weren't for you!
Each year, Phil and Courtney sit down and make yearly goals all the way down to a timeline; it's like a game for us! We were so excited for all of the big plans for growth we'd set forth for 2025, but in the final days of 2024, we found out we were expecting our first baby. This made us put a pause on any large growth plans for the year. But, for us, BMHA grew in the most unexpected and perfect way this year!
In addition, we added additional (exceptional) clinicians to our BMHA family this last year and opened a second location in Vincennes!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to our team: Ashley, Adrianna, Nicole, Salleigh, Christina, Aaron, Janelle, Joslynn, Shayla, Nadia, Jessica, Erika, Kasey, Olivia, Bob, and Mackenzie! You all are simply amazing, and we're grateful to work alongside each of you. You've all trusted us, some from the very beginning, and gave us a shot. We appreciate you all and love learning from and with each of you!
One thing we're often asked about is our logo. We spent many nights discussing what we wanted it to be, and Phil wanted an acorn and Courtney wanted a brain in some fashion. To Phil, an acorn symbolizes new life and growth. The brain was symbolic to Courtney, as through counseling, you are working on growing your thoughts and patterns. It was only fitting that Baby Barber sported an acorn shirt with his dad matching in an oak tree shirt.
So, on his due date and the anniversary date of our first "baby," we are excited to share the birth of our son, Philip "Philly" Jordan Barber II!
Thank you all for being on this journey of BMHA with us. We can't wait to see where year three takes us!
